Rubix product information:

For premium commercial and educational applications, the Rubix, available in recessed and surface form, brings a new level of style and functionality to the market.   Nine individual cells with precise optical control allow for spacings up to 3mx3m whilst still maintaining 400 lux on the 1m working plane at typical ceiling heights and also providing compliance with UGR 19 in most room sizes and meeting the 3000 candela BSEN 12464 requirement and compliance to ECA and L2 regulations.   The main source is complimented by a surrounding diffused back lit halo ensuring that the Rubix combines a unique style with optimum performance with efficiency of up to 130 luminaire lumens per watt.

The Rubix also offers quick and easy installation via a separate mounting frame and luminaire, once the frame has been installed the luminaire simply lifts and tilts into place. The outer frame ensures the Rubix is the most flexible product in the Dextra range and can be quickly and easily tailored to client needs with options to suit lay in, pull up, concealed grid systems, surface mount, unusual dimensions such as 500X500 and 750X750 as well as suspended and custom made to suit any size that may be required. Air handling channels can also be incorporated into this trim on request.  It also has the ability for us to offer different colour temperature options for the entire luminaire or for different colour temperatures for the main or back lit portion.

The halo effect brings new functionality to the Dextra product range with the ability to individually switch either the 9 cells or the halo allowing for low level background lighting or emergency operation. The emergency function operates from the halo ensuring a broad distribution of light.  The halo can be individually switched or dimmed allowing continuous low level back ground lighting for safety and comfort with minimal energy consumption.
