Dextra Group’s first CPD course explores the history of LED technology, understanding the expected lifetime of an LED and what contributes to the best efficiency and understanding true comparisons. The course also covers how LEDs are made as not all are alike in colour appearance, efficiencies and output. Also covered is LED variation and an explanation of the binning process, Macadam’s Ellipse and how important it is on visual appearance and the quality of light and the comparing luminaire efficiencies and how this is calculated.
